Guilty non poster

I thought I would start this entry by listing all of the reasons why I have been unable to sit down and type. Then I thought that was kind of pathetic. Only because the next list I was compiling was the list of reasons why I had not accomplished much knitting. UMM...It has nothing to do with the failed pair of socks I started in May, yes May. Or the stuck in the hospital doctor lounge with Lenny doing a delivery with no knitting in tow (that will never happen again). This lead me to the Target purchased knit a bikini kit....because bathing suits aren't horrible enough to try on, let alone knit. Or the Rowan sweater I am knitting for Pammy....back complete, front complete, just started first sleeve, or the bags of purchased wool piled high in my closet. Projects of the future, those piles are. I even half-hoped that the knitting ring was going to evict me for not posting in such a long time. Then I could have just bitched about that heartless, unforgiving ring...But apparently the ring police are having a great summer too, as no threatening emails have arrived...sigh of relief. It's official. I am back into the swing of things. Knitting and posting alike. Fall is coming and the summer knits need completing. So I hereby solemly swear...blah,blah,blah....to knit and post, knit and post, knit and post. Here are a few pix from my summer of fun....
