Viva Las Vegas

Ahhhh... there's no place like home. We arrived home from Vegas at 1am this morning...nothing like jet lag to make your first day back to work suck. Anyway, Vegas,Vegas, Vegas. I love Vegas. As usual, we hit our favorite spot, The Bellagio, (our usual home away from home). We played some craps, blackjack and three card poker. Lost too much there, but decided to keep giving them our money by spending more BIG bucks at the Petrossian Cafe. I LOVE CAVIAR!!!!!!! Did I mention that: I LOVE CAVIAR? Since it was my b-day, we splurged. We sipped iced vodka and ate those pearly, sparkling, yummy little fish eggs. A birthday girls heaven. I even wore my tiara. (see att'd picture). Then we went back to our hotel....The Palms Casino...great place to stay if you don't mind looking at young, over pumped guys and girls with overfilled, big ass breast implants. Well, We ate. We gambled. We lost; and I knitted. Yes I said knitted?? Is that right? or did I knit? Someone please correct my grammar. Believe it or not. After I lost my daily, self inflicted, allowance. I donned the role as a "good poker wife". I met my husband in the poker room, sat behind him, oohh'd and aahh'd over his hands and yes, you guessed it, I knit. (or knitted!?) I know....just testing your 8th grade grammar skills. I was the perfect poker wife - you know, stand by her man, in this case sit behind him, and knit. Then again, if I were truly a good poker wife, I wouldn't be there at all...Ha Ha Ha... p.s. - Lenny wanted to take my picture knitting in the poker room, so that I could post it on my blog, but much to our dismay, no cameras allowed in the poker room. Tonight I went out for an evening of Birthday celebrating at Bar in NH with our good friends, D & M....I love my b-day gifts, and am now ready to get some sleep. Next post...........Bubbles the cat and her "yarn enima"!

I love caviar too! The first time I had it we were at a resort in Nova Scotia on our second honeymoon. The chef had some caviar and crackers sent to our table before dinner. It was just lovely...

It sound like you had a fabulous time in Vegas Bellagio is awesome, we love Le Cirque. Have you been to The Red Square I believe it is still called, over at Mandalay Bay has a ice counter top at the bar and they serve more Vodka's than I ever knew existed and you can go into this hug walk in freezer they have behind the bar and they give you a full length sable coat to wear so you can pick your Vodka it is an experience. OMG and caviar they have so many ... the decor is what we would imagine old Russia to be like. Thanks for the comment, but I did finish the other sock when I make socks I have decided to make both at the same time other wise I will be a one sock wonder, smile! Me the pink cast
